In 1993 they decided to focus on winegrowing. In the course of time they have cultivated 30 hectares of wine area and have pressed sweet wine out of Welschriesling, Chardonnay, Sämling (Scheurebe), Muskat Ottonel, Traminer and Weißburgunder. Their varieties of wine can be found on the wine lists of restaurants all over the world, which makes them very proud. That is why they take on the challenge “sweet wine” every year anew.
They work according to a special philosophy in the vineyard and the cellar aiming at certain kinds of wine with clear fruit and a perfect balance between residual sugar and acid.
Our qualified – tested wine- Beerenauslesen, Eiswein, Schilfwein, Trockenbeerenauslesen – is cultivated with the help of exceptionally soft, cool and slow fermentation.
The storage of the red wine in barriques for a long time guarantees a mature and the best wine. This method ends in wine of perfect quality.
